An independent lab, not a brand counter
A brand service centre can only touch its own models, and usually only by swapping whole boards at list price. We are an independent workshop, so we can work on any make, any size and any age of television — including brands with no service presence in Karur at all. Because we repair at component level rather than replacing assemblies, the bill is normally a fraction of a brand quote.
Run by the author of India's best-selling LED TV repair book
Prasanth Aero, M.E. wrote the Dictionary of LCD, LED, a four-volume technical reference on LED and LCD television panels, power supplies, T-CON boards and firmware, published in Tamil, English and Hindi. Volume 4 covers UART access, BIST panel self-test and software recovery. Technicians across India work from these books — and the same knowledge is what goes into every set repaired here.
Equipment most workshops do not have
The lab runs an ultra-fine display bonding machine — the only one in Karur — along with hot-air rework stations, a stereo microscope, an oscilloscope, universal programmers for firmware recovery, and panel test jigs. This is the difference between diagnosing a fault and guessing at it.
Training the next set of technicians
E-DIO runs offline and online LED TV repair training, and has presented to halls of several hundred technicians. Students learn panel handling, backlight and power supply faults, T-CON diagnosis, bonding, and firmware recovery on real sets rather than on slides.
How we price work
Diagnosis and the estimate are free. We quote before we begin, and we do not start until you approve. If a set is genuinely not economic to repair, we say so — and we will make you a cash offer for it instead of letting it go to waste.
