LED TV repair training — offline and online

Diagnose it first
What you will be able to do afterwards

- Repair SMPS power supplies at component level
- Identify backlight, panel and T-CON faults apart from each other
- Read and interpret panel part numbers and datasheets
- Recover corrupted firmware over UART and with a universal programmer
- Understand display bonding and when it is the right repair
- Quote a job accurately so you do not lose money on it
Taught on real televisions
Every module is worked on actual faulty sets on the bench. You will hold the meter probes, run the hot-air station, read the waveform and make the call. Classroom theory alone does not make a technician, and it is not how this course is run.
Offline training in Karur
Offline batches are run at the lab in Sengunthapuram with full access to the equipment, including the bonding machine, microscope, oscilloscope and programmers. Group sizes are kept small enough that everyone gets bench time.
Online training
Online sessions are for technicians who cannot travel to Karur. They follow the same syllabus with live demonstration and question time, and are backed by the Dictionary of LCD, LED volumes as course reference material. Technicians across India already work from these books.
Who comes on this course
People starting out in electronics repair; mobile and electronics technicians adding television work to their income; existing TV shop owners who want to stop sending panels away; and ITI or diploma electronics students who want a practical skill that pays.
Training in Tamil, English or Hindi
Teaching is available in Tamil, English and Hindi — the same three languages as the course books — so nobody is held back by the language of instruction.

Tell us what your television is doing
Send a photo of the fault and the model sticker on the back of the set. We will tell you the likely cause and a realistic cost before you travel anywhere or spend anything.
- Free diagnosis. No work starts until you approve the price.
- An honest answer. If the set is not worth repairing we say so — and we will buy it from you.
- A second opinion. Quoted for a whole new panel elsewhere? Screen lines are usually a bonding repair for a fraction of that.
