Vu TV repair in Karur
Vu specialises in big screens at aggressive prices, so the sets that come in here are usually 55 inches and up. On a screen that size the gap between an honest repair and a replacement television is at its widest.
Fault guide
Common faults we see on this brand
| Symptom | Usual cause and repair |
|---|---|
| Black screen, sound working, on a large set | Backlight LED strip failure — on big panels there are many strings and a single failed string darkens the whole screen. |
| Android TV software crashes or boot loop | Corrupted firmware, recoverable by reflashing. |
| No power | Power supply board fault. |
| Blank white screen with backlight on | T-CON board failure, not a dead panel. |
| Lines or dark half on a large screen | Driver IC bond failure — bonding repair, which on a 65 inch panel saves a very large amount. |
| Cracked large panel | Panel replacement up to 85 inches, with pickup and drop recommended. |

Tell us what your television is doing
Send a photo of the fault and the model sticker on the back of the set. We will tell you the likely cause and a realistic cost before you travel anywhere or spend anything.
- Free diagnosis. No work starts until you approve the price.
- An honest answer. If the set is not worth repairing we say so — and we will buy it from you.
- A second opinion. Quoted for a whole new panel elsewhere? Screen lines are usually a bonding repair for a fraction of that.
Questions
Frequently asked questions
Is a large Vu TV worth repairing?
Almost always. On a 55 to 75 inch set, a backlight or board repair costs a small fraction of replacing the television.
Can you handle 75 and 85 inch Vu panels?
Yes. Large panels are fragile in transit, so ask about pickup and drop when you call.
Is there a Vu service centre in Karur?
Authorised Vu service coverage in Karur district is limited, which is why owners bring these sets here.
